Partnership-building workshop re internet enabled services in smart cities, 15 January 2010, Brussels
The EU’s 2010 ICT Policy Support Programme (ICTPSP) specifically includes a theme entitled “Open innovation for future internet-enabled services in “smart” cities” (theme 4). Total funding to be available under this theme, for several pilot actions, is €15m. For further information about this theme consult the 2010 ICTPSP draft work programme which can be downloaded from here.
To support the set-up of consortias, the DG Information Society will be organizing a specific partnership-building workshop for this theme. During the event, opportunities will be provided for interested parties to present their pilot ideas and for potential pilot participants to present their competences. This workshop will be held on Friday 15 January 2010 in Brussels (Charlemagne building), the day following a general ICTPSP 2010 Info Day. ICT-PSP Programme, Digital Libraries Information Day, 4 February 2010, Luxembourg
A dedicated Information Day for the Digital Libraries theme oF ICT-PSP Programmetheme will take place on 4 February 2010 in Luxembourg. Under this theme the following objectives will be covered: services, aggregating or digitising content for Europeana, open access to scientific content and use of cultural heritage material for education.

High Level event on ICT for Energy Efficiency, 23-24 February 2010, Brussels
The second edition of the High Level event on ICT for Energy Efficiency is organised by the European Commission's Information Society and Media Directorate-General, in cooperation with the Spanish Presidency of the European Union.
This event will take place on February 23rd and 24th 2010 in Brussels gathering policy makers and experts on the ICT for Energy Efficiency field.
